Concept 7 is a "Web" (see Webmakers and Skyhooks) levitation technique that allows you the freedom and flexibility not always available with a body hook up. With this method you can cause items to levitate while being some distance away from them. Concept7 is not your typical walk-around or street magic type effect since it does require some set-up in a pre-determined location. While you will have the freedom to move around without breaking your thread hook-up, you will have to plan out and prepare the location where you'll be performing the amazing Concept 7 levitation!

Here's a sample effect that you can easily do with Concept 7:

Ask a spectator to hand you a dollar bill and put it on the table. Wave your hands around the bill and instantly the bill starts to rise up off the table, rests in mid air and then gently lands back onto the table. Now, you realize that's not all that new of a magic trick and can be performed with an Invisible Thread Reel, loops, or a number of other methods.

Now, this is where Concept 7 makes a difference....

Next, you walk away from the table and the bill. Let's say for sake of example, 10-20 feet away. Wave your hands again and make jaws drop when your spectators see the bill rise again and you are nowhere near it! This is unachievable with many of the other magic floating or levitation gimmicks on the market.

FAQ's:

How long is the setup for Concept 7? Concept 7 can be set up in about 15-20 minutes if you're starting from scratch. The "portable" method will allow you to get setup in about 5 minutes.

How high can I float something? The maximum height to float an object with Concept 7 is about three inches. While that may not sound like much, spectators will freak out by this! A lot of invisible thread work is enhanced purely by your presentation! Concept 7 will blow minds!

What type of things can I float with Concept 7? Floating any type of lightweight, flat objects are best for Concept 7. That would include playing cards, credit cards, dollar bills, predictions, torn piece of newspaper, business cards, etc.

Do I have to "touch" the dollar bill or object before it can float? No. With Concept 7, you can actually have the spectator place the bill on the table and cause it to magically levitate without the magician ever touching it!

As with most IT, you'll still need to be aware of your surroundings when performing Concept 7. Things such as indoor or outdoor lighting, weather, spectator positioning, etc., can all have impact on your performance when using invisible thread.
