For the high schooler trying to impress his friends, you probably cannot justify spending this much on an item that isnt really a trick. Also if you just want to shock people, although fun, DONT BOTHER. However, as a working magician, I have extreme respect for the intensification of reactions the electric touch brings about. The permanent set up is EASY, cheap, but note that if you get this and open it at 8pm you wont be up and running the same night. You WILL need additional time and setup in order to have a comfortable permanent set up. I have yet to really test this effect for an audience of total strangers, but i will be getting this opportunity soon, and I have NO DOUBT that I will be getting people more frightened than they normally are by my magic. The DVD on setting up is easy to understand, and DO NOT worry if you somehow lose the screw, you dont necessarily need it, and will be OK! I lost mine and got nervous for a few minutes. Bottom Line: Brilliant addition to professionals repretoire, has some setup involved, but WELL worth it for the cornucopia of effect enhancers possible with this device. If you can afford it, and can think creatively about what you can do with it, get this. This is not a necessity, by ANY MEANS, but it can improve reactions tenfold, and make sure that your performance is unforgettable, which is critical to garnering new business.

The Accessories for the Electric Touch are The accessories are little overpriced and not really needed, because they are included in the Electric Touch trick. Besides, in my opinion, if something goes wrong will be the Electric Touch apparatus, not the metal piece that’s call “accessories”
