The gimmick is not the most complex, expensive or unique (although I did not really know what to expect) but I never thought of using one like this so the secret is well worth the cost! It works with little to no skill and I doubt enyone will ever catch you at what you are really doing. I figured it out right away out of the pakage but when I watched the DVD Jay suggested some modifications to the set up that really enhance the performance and allow more freedom for the performer. This is a great illusion for not a lot of cash and I would suggest it to anyone who wears laced shoes! Once you know the secret you could possibly come up with several ideas to duplicate the trick and make it more your own or even get a new idea based on the same principals. It reminds me of a dollar illusion that someone taught me about a year ago. I thought "What a great trick!" and then I incorporated some other skills I used from other illusions I had purchased and took the gimmick to a whole new level!! This is a trick like that one. Many many ideas come from it. Learn it, do it a few times and then go ..... gee what it I did this or that. That is real magic! Thanks for an great illusion/idea!!

There is no sleight of hand required and it is a very very fast and easy reset. I suggest that to anybody that wears shoes and is tired of tying their own shoelaces!
